Is zocor a good medicine for cholesterol?

Yes, it has been shown to be very effective in lowering bad cholesterol levels in multiple scientific trials, with relatively few side effects. It is perhaps the most widely studied of all the cholesterol-lowering medications. It is one of the better cholesterol medications available, along with Lipitor and Crestor. Just because Zocor is now available in a generic form does not make it any less godd as a medication. I would gladly take it myself.
