What was this "end of the world" movie called?

Hi guys. What was this end of the world movie called. I watched in about 1 year ago. It consisted mostly of pictures as far as I remember. It starts with a girl that grows up, and i think it takes place in New York. How the water level increases and there are barriers build in order to protect them. And there were like houses and apartments with wind towers and stuff. The movie I think consisted mostly of pictures like i said, it was not a live action movie, and it is not very old, no more than a couple of years maybe even less. I want to watch it right now please help if you have an idea.
