HELP, I GOT A SITUATION!!!!!!!!!!!!?

okay so basically, there's this guy i like him very much, we're kinda serious but we're still on a get to know u level even tho the feeling ar very strong in such a short time, but his past kinda gets in the way, he's been hurt many time b4 me by friends and girls so he's confused in a way, he talks to other girls but i know since im not his girlfriend i cant tell him who he can or cant talk to but it sucks cuz i do like him but im getting tired of sharing him, my friends have been telling me to just ket em go cuz he doesnt know wat he wants an i might get hurt waiting for him but idk, he tell me he's not ready for a relationship cuz he's afriad i understand that i can wait but he's very confusing cuz he tells me all the time he wants to be wit me but yet there's other girls in the picture, i just dont wanna look like the idot that waited i feel like he doesnt know wat girl he wants even tho he says he like me more than any of the other one but then again how do i know thats true, so now im trying to figure out if i should let em go or wait, u tell me!?!?!!?!?
