How does COLLEGE work?

Nobody in my biological family, numerous foster families, or my current adoptive family ever went to a four year college. I'm the first:) However, I have no idea how it works. I want to double major in Literature and Sociology and minor in Neuroscience at Coe College. So... when I graduate - maybe in four or five years?? - what will I have degrees in and what level degrees will they be? Also will I only be able to go to graduate school to further what I majored in? Or can I further what I minored in?? I'm really just confused so if you could share with me any info at all about college, degrees, etc, I would really really appreciate it:)
