Pregnant and platelets dropping?

am currently almost 38 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child... In december i had blood work and they told me my iron was low. I was put on 325 mg of iron 2 times a day. I later went for my blood glucose and the results showed I had low platelets. They were at 126.. Yesterday I went in for a follow up and they are lower at 113.. So I have to go get another CBC. How normal is this? Should I be worried about something else? People are telling me not to worry, but I can't stop worrying... If it was cholesterol I wouldn't be so scared, but these are blood platelets!!!!
